Glow Integrative Clinic offers registered acupuncture in Victoria, BC
Acupuncture is the primary modality of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Through the use of hair-like needles, the practitioner is able to stimulate energy (Qi) through the body to support a variety of symptoms and health concerns. The aim of treatment is to harmonize the body-mind-spirit to prompt the body’s ability to heal. Acupuncture is known to be deeply relaxing and a powerful aid in shifting back to wellness. Treatments at Glow incorporate different modalities including acupuncture, acupressure, cupping, bodywork, gua sha, ear seeds, and lifestyle supports. Glow offers acupuncture at the Oak Bay location.

Co-Owner & Acupuncturist
I am licensed as a Registered Acupuncturist in British Columbia under the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists. In addition, I hold certifications as a Kinesiologist with the BC Association of Kinesiologists, as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and High Performance Specialist with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology, and as a yoga teacher through the Yoga Alliance.
I am grateful to have been introduced to a wise and intuitive acupuncturist in my youth who truly shaped the way that I approached my own health. Since that point, I always had a keen interest in the human body, how it worked and the incredible interconnectedness in its ability to heal.
This made it a clear transition to enter into the field of Kinesiology, completing my Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary in 2007, and my Master of Arts in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria in 2009. After completion, I wanted to find a clinical setting in which I could apply what I knew as a kinesiologist, with a broader and more integrated type of medicine. This led me to complete my Diploma in Acupuncture at Pacific Rim College in 2014. I have completed additional advanced training in women’s integrative health through Dr. Aviva Romm’s Women’s Functional and Integrative Medicine Professional Training Program, cosmetic acupuncture in the Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture System by Martha Lucas, sports and orthopedic acupuncture with Whitfield Reeves, and advanced training in acupuncture for the management of cancer-related symptoms.
I feel incredibly lucky to be able to spend my days working with people of all ages and backgrounds to optimize health and integrate a whole-person approach to healing. I have experienced in myself and seen in others the amazing transformations which can be made through education, empowerment and treatment. I truly believe that these powerful forms of medicine can ignite our own healing response and bring us into a brighter, clearer and more radiant state of being.

Registered Acupuncturist
Long before it became my profession, acupuncture and Chinese Medicine were a natural, deeply woven part of my upbringing as a second-generation Chinese-Canadian. My journey to becoming a practitioner ultimately bridged two worlds: a foundational background in Western science and a deep respect for traditional and cultural practices.
I graduated with highest honors (Summa Cum Laude) from Pacific Rim College’s Acupuncture program, and furthered my studies directly at the source, receiving training at clinics and hospitals in Beijing, China. Complementing my acupuncture practice, I am also a Clinical Herbalist, having completed a three-year diploma in Phytotherapy, bringing over 1,000 hours of clinical experience to your care.
As a general practitioner, my practice is open to patients at all stages of health, to support a wide range of conditions. Some areas of interest include acute and chronic pain relief, sleep disorders, emotional regulation, mental health, digestive health, stress, and respiratory conditions. I also have a dedicated clinical interest in hormonal regulation - guiding individuals through menstrual and menopausal changes, as well as fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum care.
My approach is centred around creating a safe space, and on meeting individuals exactly where they are. By working together, we can get to the root of your health concerns, gently supporting your body in remembering its own natural intelligence and innate capacity to heal.
I carefully select various practices and techniques - including acupuncture, fire cupping, moxibustion, channel palpation, bloodletting, Tui Na, Qi Gong, and Shi Liao (TCM food therapy) - to honour the unique needs of each individual.

Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine
I am a Doctor of Chinese Medicine dedicated to integrative family care, with a special focus on women’s health. My practice is grounded in the belief that the body holds innate wisdom.
Through Chinese medicine and other somatic modalities, I have navigated my own health challenges and believe wholeheartedly in the potential of an individual to return to harmony, given the right environment.
With a clinical focus on hormonal health, digestion, emotional well-being, pain relief, sports injuries, and trauma recovery, I integrate acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, craniosacral therapy, massage, and yoga therapy to create individualized, holistic treatments.
I am deeply passionate about women’s health and support women in all stages of life in reconnecting with their bodies and reclaiming their vitality. I also welcome people of all genders, including youth, children, and infants, into my care.
I mentor emerging practitioners in cultivating their own unique approaches to acupuncture and Chinese medicine, and I teach at Pacific Rim College of Integrative Medicine.
Outside the clinic, I can be found at the beach or in the ocean. I live for surfing and enjoy crafting herbal remedies, dancing, and homesteading. I look forward to meeting you!
